We believe the Bible was written by men who were inspired by God. Paul describes this as “God-breathed.” It is God's special revealing of Himself to man. It is a collection of 66 books written by at least 39 people over the course of over 1500 years. God used people on three different contentment who spoke at least three different languages to create this work. They came from all walks of life: shepherds, kings, fishermen and prisoners.

God worked actively in History in its creation, transition and even works today to provide illumination to its reading. It is true and trustworthy. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation. “It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.” -BFM
